Hunter Classical Christian School provides students with an education rooted in the liberal arts in a challenging Christian environment. Creative competition is seen as healthy and as a means for preparing students for higher learning. Our curriculum is traditional and rigorous, and will require the student’s best effort. Our curriculum includes:

  • Shurley Grammar
  • Scott Foresman Science
  • Predominantly classical literature, the “Great Books” approach
  • “Story of the World” History series, by Susan Wise Bauer (with supplemental material)
  • Ecce Romanum Latin
  • Math games, Kodaly method of music instruction, physical education, art, and creative play
