Join us for Lessons and Carols

Mark your calendar for Tuesday, December 18th at 9:00am and plan to join us for our Christmas tradition: The Service of Lessons and Carols! This century-old service consists of eight readings of the story of Redemption from the Old and New Testaments, alternating with carols and musical selections. Following the service, a reception will be held in Heritage Hall. We hope you can celebrate the season of our Lord’s birth with us!

Our Vision

Hunter Classical Christian School is an educational community which strives to teach students how to think, not just what to think. Our mission is one of service for the glory of God and the health of the family, with your child being our highest priority. We know your most important investment is the heart and mind of your child.

We are excited to introduce you to the sound, classical learning method guided by Judeo-Christian principles at HCCS. When a child’s mind is based on a firm foundation they enjoy finding answers. HCCS students are encouraged to delight in teaching themselves new information, and to seek the good, the beautiful and the true. The universal and unchanging themes of human existence inform our classical curriculum.

We develop confident, faith-filled leaders that act with moral integrity and possess strong intellectual foundations for a lifetime of learning and growing. Watch our short video below to learn how we provide our students with an engaging and positive learning environment.

For more information about HCCS, please call the school office at 804-708-0048 or request an information packet to be sent electronically.

“Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest,
whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure,
whatsoever things are lovely…think on these things.”
